It is the feeling you will experience in the space when your room is completed. The balance of energy is important because too much energy in one place or on one side of the room will not be in balance. Large objects give off more energy than smaller objects. (ex. sofa vs. end table) Be sure to place these objects strategically in your space for the proper balance of energy. Saturday, May 26, 2007 Color Color is Light. Without light, color would not exist. As light hits objects, some of the light is absorbed into the object and some of it bounces off the object. It is the light molecules that bounce off objects that we see as color. Dark colors appear heavier and give off more energy. Light colors appear visually lighter and give off less energy. Notice how your eye will gravitate more towards the purple color square than the light blue color square?
